On June 7, 2016, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum Re-Opened and the DeVos Learning Center celebrated a truly Grand Opening. The Museum had been closed for nearly one year for extensive upgrades and remodeling, while the Learning Center is the new education hub for the Museum. Speakers included Steve Ford, Archivist of the United States David Ferriero, Juliette Turner, former Vice President Dick Cheney, with special musical performances by The United States Army Chorus.
