Howard Willens spoke at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 10, 2015 to discuss his role with the Warren Commission and its legacy. Willens is the author of "History Will Prove Us Right: Inside the Warren Commission Report on the Assassination of John F. Kennedy". Willens' book is the only one written on the Commission by someone who was part of the management team that supervised the largest criminal investigation in U.S. history.
The Warren Commission included 23 staff attorneys, which worked the day-to-day investigation operation, including 32-year old Justice Department lawyer Howard Willens who was one of three attorneys that supervised the investigation.
